John Harrison has degrees in science and economics and a member of many organisations. Apart from running a large accountancy/consulting practice he has had experience as a geologist (exploration and minerals separation) and in engineering and has been responsible for a number of innovations including the tech tendon method of pre stressing. John is also managing director and chairman of TecEco Pty. Ltd. and best known for the invention of Tec, Eco and Enviro-Cements which have attracted significant global interest because of their influence on sustainability and potential to provide significant emissions reduction. John is an authority on sustainable materials for the built environment and was a founder of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainable Materials in Construction. He has been the keynote speaker at many conferences and has been internationally recognised for his work on sustainability. John is committed to finding ways of "materially" improving the sustainability of the built environment. In recent time he has concentrated on the research and development of TecEco Cement, CarbonSafe and kiln technologies.
John is a fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants and has had well over 30 years of accounting experience. His firm will take on most work from the simple to the complex as detailed on this web site.
Brendan Kemp B.Com. CPA.
Brendan completed his B.Com degree in 1992 and joined the firm in May 1994. He is now our office manager and one of the best tax accountants in Australia as far as we are concerned!
Brendan has kept up his studies and completed many courses offered by the Australian Society of CPA's towards being able to hold a practicing certificate. He is methodical and leaves few stones unturned in his work and is an asset to the firm. He provides top quality service at a reasonable price and our clients are very pleased with what he has been able to achieve for them.
Rohan Sweet B.Com. CPA.
Rohan completed a B.Com at the university of Tasmania with double majors in accounting and information systems in 2000 and joined John Harrison Accountants as a small business consultant and accountant at the end of the same year.
Since joining the firm he has established himself as a competent taxation consultant and provides high quality services in the areas of compliance and administration to a variety of small to medium business clients.
Rohan also specialises in database systems and has assisted clients with the design and implementation of stock and sales systems utilising computer software.
